Certifications
Q Mark's HEDISHelp software is certified by the National Committee for Quality Assurance
(NCQA). It saves time and resources by foregoing the manual source
code review portion of the Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS®)
Compliance Audit. Our software collects HEDIS-related data from health plan databases
and calculates HEDIS results across a continuum of care and service and produces
the sample frame for the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems
(CAHPS) survey measures. HEDIS is a vital part
of NCQA accreditation.
Q Mark’s software undergoes a rigorous certification process. Unique sets of test
data are processed and compared to expected results to determine whether the
software calculates the HEDIS rates correctly. Certification is awarded when a minimum
of 90% of the measures are passed. The certification is valid for one year. Q
Mark software is updated and recertified annually, scoring 100% year after
year, thus guaranteeing
assurance and customer satisfaction.
In addition to full certification, Q Mark holds Partial Software Certification
status, confirming that our software tests a subset of the HEDIS measurement set for the
Integrated Healthcare Association’s
Pay for Performance (P4P) clinical measurement set. This is an innovative effort employing standardized measures
to evaluate physician performance and reward those achieving quality of care at a high level.
